The
Trailheads
Trailheads are easily
accessible during normal winter driving conditions.
Trails are packed and groomed for your safety and the safety of the
dogs.
Roads are
plowed. Drive carefully. Carry chains and be prepared for winter
weather. Plan to arrive at least one half hour prior to your departure time.
You're in for a real treat!
Ski Bowl Trailhead
- Main Trailhead
This trailhead, located
just between the Mount Shasta Nordic Ski Center and the Mount Shasta
Ski Park. This is the main trailhead for individuals, small
parties and groups.
Spontaneous Rides are sometimes available.
Take the McCloud Exit, Hwy. 89 East off Interstate 5, just South
of Mt. Shasta. Travel approximately 6 miles to Ski Park Rd.
(This is the road to the Mt. Shasta Ski and Board Park and the Mt.
Shasta Nordic Center.
